I'm Grandma Dusia. My former family got rid of me like an old thing no longer needed. They left me in the middle of a busy street. I'm blind, so I stood there, afraid to move. I didn't know what was happening around me. I was terrified, I thought I would die of fear. Someone picked me up and took me to the foundation. In the temporary home, I didn't eat, drink or move for several days. One of my eyes hurt a lot, I had to have surgery, but now that I trust my caregiver, I enjoy the peaceful life of an old lady. I really like to sleep for a long time, on a soft blanket. During my sleep breaks, I like to eat something good, walk in the garden for a while and then go back to sleep.
