Not all kittens are lucky to be born in a house, and not all of them grow up living with humans. I was born in a barn and that's how I spent the first months of my life. People never treated me badly, sometimes they even slipped something into my food, but all in all they treated me like nothing, no one stroked me or talked to me. It was only when I went to a kitten clinic for a procedure that I learned that cats are petted and scratched on the chin. I liked it and I don't want to go back to that barn, I would like to have a real house. I'm the only one who's still learning how to live with a human. I'm great at using the litter box, I'm polite and calm, I've never even thought for a moment about scratching a human, I've never even been angry with cat doctors. But, you know, I'm learning that kittens are meant to be petted and cuddled, and my home must help me open up, teach me how to play and spend time together. I would be happy to live with another cat, but if you have time to play with me, I can also be the only cat in the house. I am afraid of small children and dogs.
